My Review:
Lets start with the cover. A dark haired young lady with only one of her freaky green eyes looking at me. That one look says so much, she has a feeling of dangerous yet innocent. The sentence "Sometimes Love is Lethal." Whoa! that makes my mind whirl with questions. Is the girl on the cover the one who is lethal? who is she?
And with that I enter my e-book ready for the story to unfold. And boy-o-boy does it ever!!
Author Nely Cab starts the book captivating her audience by introducing the sweet Isis and all she wants to do is get some sleep, and this darn reoccurring nightmare she just cannot shake. No matter how hard she tries, this creature terrorizes her and leaves her a walking zombie from lack of sleep. Her poor mom is at whits end trying to figure out what to do to help her child get sleep.
Finally Isis has had enough and confronts the creature in her dream and she is utterly shocked by her discovery. The book then takes you on the most fabulous ride you'd ever want to encounter!
Cab had me yearning to continue to read, I needed to know will happen next. I love books that have you thinking of it when you are supposed to be doing other things, like sleeping or eating.
Questions upon questions kept coming up.... What will Isis do? What is going to happen next? And the best part was, just when I thought I had it figured it out, Cab threw a curve ball and I was left not only scratching my head but NEEDING to read more.
Cab introduced her characters in a way that you were compelled to connect with. The characters had the perfect blend of humor and seriousness leaving me cracking up laughing at times and at other times really thinking about the situation.
Cab gives her readers an action packed book full of unbelievable twists and turns and she leaves the reader literally begging for more! I cannot wait for the second book to be released!!!
This book was defiantly, BLAZING HOT!!!!!
