Well it without a doubt be any of Cassandra Claire's, Mortal Intruments books. I just have never gotten around to read them, but it seems that all my friends and blogging buddies have :-(

This weeks Activity:

Reading Nook Tour!

I can't give a tour because I don't have a space. :-( But I still wanted to share...

Well I will be honest, being a mom of a 22 year old (still living at home) and a 1 year old (yep you read that correctly) I have no special space to read that I can call my own. I read on my vanpool, while walking between two offices at work, in bathroom or while putting baby to sleep.

My dream is to have my quiet space to read and be surrounded by my books... maybe one day.

This week's Feature Question:

It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book!!! Who are you casting for the main characters?

Hottie Syreeta's Answer: Well the book would be without a doubt J.R. Ward's Lover Revealed:

As for characters, I would have my casting as:

Butch - Mark Walburg (yum yum)

Marissa - that is a hard one, but when I read her character and after seeing her in twilight , I envision Ashley Green, without wig of course. I think she would make a perfect Marissa.

This week's Feature Question:
If you could only have ONE – one book – for the rest of your life. Don’t cheat…what would it be?

Hottie Syreeta's Answer: WOW! What a hard question to answer. I had to give great thought to this question. I weighed the options and although I am not super religious, but I feel like the bible would be the best option simply because of all the different "stories" and it could be reviewed and could be applied in different ways.

Share something you’ve learned about book blogging or just blogging in general in the last month.

Hottie Syreeta's Answer: Everything I learned has been new, come this Saturday we will be celebrating 1 month of blogging, and we couldn't be more excited! The one thing I have learned that has actually been one of the most amazing part of blogging is that other bloggers are so helpful. We all have the same passion and the help and tips have been phenomenal. I look forward to continue to network with other fabulous bloggers and connect to new followers.
I am even more excited to hop around to see what other bloggers are saying in hopes to learn even more!!!! :-)

This week's Feature Question:
Back to school. Create a reading list for the imaginary English Lit class you’ll be teaching this semester.

Hottie Syreeta's Answer:There are so many great books that I would, but here are my choices and why.

- The Twilight Series and Anne Rice's Vampire Series (I realize it would seem like comparing apples and oranges, but there is a common denominator.. the seeds, and I would have my class look for the "seeds" in the books)

- The Adventures of Huck Fin - Self explanatory, it is an American Classic

- Their Eyes Were Watching God by: Zora Neale Hurston - I want more people to familiarize themselves with African American Literature, and this is a great one.

- The Green Mile & Needful Things by: Stephen King - Stephen King has some great books, these two are amongst my favorites. I feel that great discussions would come from both books.

- I know Why The Caged Birds Sing by: Maya Angelou - I love Angelou and this book is very powerful. Also another way to get African American Literature out there.
